Original 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide in original condition. Bike has been sitting for the last 12 years in a garage in Tennessee. Bike has had gas drained, oil & filter changed and petcock replaced. Starts right up with a little smoke ( from sitting? ) and runs very strong. Bike shift gears smoothly & clutch operates good. Appears to be a replacement battery, generator, speedometer and 1970 mufflers. Bike starts and shifts nice, will need some normal maintenance for a bike that has sat this long ( tune-up, carb service, tires etc ). Rear brakes not working, soft pedal. Paint is original Hi-Fi Red that has a dent on top of the front fender and the rest has normal fading, and expected wear. Very nice all around nearly unmolested slabside Shovelhead! Harley-Davidson Consolidates Businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy
Wed, 16 Oct 2013In response to the continuing economic struggles in southern Europe, Harley-Davidson announced it will combine its operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy into a single business unit to be called SPI Motor Company. Harley-Davidson says the new company, which officially begins operating immediately, will be better positioned to respond to the challenges of the market. The new company will be led by Regional Managing Director of Operations Yves-Olivier Allamagny, formerly the director of Harley-Davidson Italy.
