Harley-Davidson Other description

Up for auction is a 1966 Harley-Davidson Sprint H (Aermacchi) Project. The Bike is in tact from what I can tell. But Needs Restoration. It appears to be mostly compete considering it is 50 years old. With no apparent body defects. Good compression. Starts with effort, runs and drives, but shifts hard. Appears to have a magneto type ignition installed. Tank is exceptionally clean inside. Pipe is up swept type and has no major rust. Seat and wheels are not original and appear to have been replaced. Very slight oil leak, and incomplete wring. This is a very solid donor for a restoration effort. Buyer is responsible for shipping. The bike is listed locally and may be withdrawn if sold.

As both demand and production have increased, Zero is ready to adopt a new dealer-based model.

Zero Motorcycles Promotes Askenazi to CTO

Tue, 24 May 2011

Zero Motorcycles has promoted Abe Askenazi to the position of chief technology officer. A former Buell engineer, Askenazi joined Zero Motorcycles in 2010 as vice president of engineering where he played a vital role in developing the company’s 2011 line-up, overhauling over 80% of Zero’s existing electric motorcycle line-up while adding the Zero XU and street legal versions of the Zero X and Zero MX in just 10 months on the job. “Abe’s ability to effectively execute on an aggressive product development plan, select the best new technologies and rally his team is remarkable.

Legends Ride Stops Sturgis Traffic

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
