ORIGINAL HARLEY VIN NO SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

This started off as a motor sitting on my work bench way too long.

First thing to do was check all the internals and bead blast the cases. original crank with 93" S&S top end(pistons, rings, cylinders, heads, cams,oil pump, carbeurator)

did the same thing with the tranny and all original internals

went with a kraftech swingarm frame 2 up 2 out so you can see the top of the chrome engine. also a kraftech oil tank 

the rims are 18" stainless spokes with metzler tires 130 up front and 140 on the rear

hawg halter brakes, rotors and master cylinders front and rear with progressive shocks

old school hinged rear fender and a klock works front fender with 5 gallon tanks

14" mini apes with arlen ness grips and pegs 

mallory electronic ignition and a billet altenator (no generator)  

every piece on this bike is new except the motor and tranny. They were totally rebuilt

this is one bad a@@ bike so don't hesitate to bid and good luck!!!!!

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler

Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
