First Ever, Last ever, & Only Panhead electra Glide ever produced! The motor and trans were completely rebuilt & completely chromed. The motor & trans are OEM Harley and have matching vin#. The frame was powder coated. The bike has all new bearings & bushings throughout. Every single part has been repaired, replaced, or rebuilt to keep the bike as close to original as possible & to recreate the way it looked on the showroom floor in 1965, OEM parts were used when possible & reproduction when necessary. Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.

Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary

Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
