Harley-Davidson Other description

1965 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide CLASSIC, 1965 Electra Glide. This is one of the best Electra Glides out there. This bike was restored 25 years ago, at that time the speedometer had been replaced. It reads 1,713 miles. The bike has been in storage for 25 years and is in running excellent condition. The bike is all original. It does have some add-ons. Since I purchased the bike 2 1/2 years ago I had the carb cleaned and all gaskets and float replaced; new battery installed and all cables adjusted. Bike has been driven only 419 miles since I bought it. The previous owner, Duncan Rollason Company Inc bought the bike as an investment and display for his company in 1994. The owner passed away and the board of directors sold all assets. George Lussier Ent Inc owned the bike prior. The pictures and videos speak for themselves. You will be buying one of the best 1965's on the Market. I will look at all offers; will not accept any trades. $28,000.00

The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. What’s the deal with all those Pink Motorcycles?

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

Picture a Motorcycle in your mind, any Motorcycle. It could be one you own, want to own, one you’ve seen. Can you picture it?  What Brand is it?  What Model, year, how fast does it go?  You can probably picture each of these elements vividly.
