Up for sale is my personal and pride possession 1962 FL Panhead chopper called "Jasmin" I am looking for a good home for her. Frame is a HD straight leg with the side car loops Engine is a Colorado titled 1962 Harley Davidson FL S&S E Carb with Coffin Carb Cover MPG Chrome Finned Primary cover Polished Joe Hunt Magneto Narrow 41mm Front end with polished and shaved Panhead legs 21 Wheel 8in Noise Cycles T Bars Paughco shotgun Exhaust pipes Throttle addiction peanut tank and fender Rev tec 5 into 4 transmission PanHead oil tank 19 HD rear wheel with Firestone tire Kick and Electric Start Option, I prefer kick ( you will need a antigravity 16 the one I had no longer hold a charge that's why I kick) Juice Breaks Blue Faux bates seat with matching p-pad Hippy Killer "FTW" taillight Paint is Powder Coat mystic space blue, it changes colors in the sun from deep purple to light blue, pinstriped by a local legend here in Colorado. The bike is fun to ride but please understand these are old bikes, you will cuss them out, you will kick them and swear you hate them, but really there is nothing like owning a piece of history. This not a new show bike, I ride it allot, it will leak but what old Harley doesn't. You will have to change 1 tappet gasket, I will ship overseas but all shipping is up to the buyer, I can help when they come get it, if you decided to purchase it I will need a $500 USD nonrefundable deposit via paypal and the rest will be cash. I have the right to end this auction anytime I want, I don't need to sell I'm not desperate. I will ship to Japan and Europe but you will have to set up the pickup. US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Perry King To Be Grand Marshal At Second Annual The Greatest Escape Motorcycle Ride Benefit
Tue, 06 May 2014Organizers have announced that the much anticipated The Greatest Escape, 2014 in it’s second year, will be led by Grand Marshal, Perry King and a host of celebrities. The Greatest Escape is scheduled for Sunday, August 3, 2014 and will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA along the Pacific Coast Highway with stunning views of the ocean to the rustic and historic Paramount Ranch, Cornell Road, Agoura Hills, CA. Join Perry King for what will be a wonderful day ending with a concert and BBQ lunch on the ranch. The Greatest Escape, 2014 will include a BBQ lunch by J Wolf BBQ and a concert by The Walking Phoenixes, a Johnny Cash tribute band. The Greatest Escape, 2014, will benefit victims of Mesothelioma and the Pacific Meso Center, in Los Angeles, CA.
