Good old 61 Panhead. The paint is not original. I ride this bike to work a couple times a week, weather permitting. It's not totally original, the kicker cover has been replaced and the wheel hubs are ball bearing vs star hubs. Clutch, brakes, lights and charging system all work fine. Original 6 volt system and Linkert M74B carb. Hand shift and foot clutch, kick start only bike. It's not a museum piece but a great daily rider. The bike has matching numbers, clean vin numbers and clean and clear title in my name. It's a panhead, it snorts, sweats a little oil and rattles but has never let me down. Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
