Here is a 1955 FL Harley Panhead motor, ready to assemble, new main shaft bearings "Races have been line lapped" and case halves machine matched to each other. has a nice used 55-64 flywheel & rod set. The right case is an early pan case machined for a lat race and the left is a replacement aftermarket re stamped and matches title perfectly. The heads are 1948-50 with Oring thread in inserts, these heads are all re-built with new valves and Ampco valve guides, the rockers are OE Harley, real nice brass and no I don't want to take the rocker covers off, I just put them on. the heads are ready to bolt up.
New Pistons and cylinders New cam chest set, with an S&S breather valve. S&S Super E carburetor in great shape with cable and hand throttle. New auto advance distributor. Tappets and blocks are SOSO they will work. Motor only needs nuts /bolts, push rods, gasket kit and push rod covers to assemble. Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
Harley-Davidson Delivers Strong Growth For Fourth Quarter And For Full Year
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Harley-Davidson released today its fourth quarter financial statements, revealing the company’s fourth-quarter income from continuing operations was $70.6 million on consolidated revenue of $1.17 billion, compared to 2011 income from continuing operations of $54.6 million on consolidated revenue of $1.18 billion. Fourth-quarter 2012 earnings per share were $0.31, up 29.2% compared to EPS of $0.24 in the year-ago quarter. For the full year, Harley-Davidson income from continuing operations was $623.9 million on consolidated revenue of $5.58 billion, compared to full-year 2011 income from continuing operations of $548.1 million on consolidated revenue of $5.31 billion.
