Harley-Davidson Other tech info

Harley-Davidson Other description
Here is a nice barn find 1954 Panhead. Mallory Distributor, with new module,Bike has original mousetrap, S&S Carb , late model front end with disk brakes and rear disk brake as well. System was converted to 12V and all lights work. Also sporting STD heads, which help improve overall performance of bike. Bike has belt drive, I have primary cover was removed to take pics. Also I have the carb back plate filter and cover but it will need to be modified to fit with the current gas tanks. Which comes with bike, but i did not want to cut up to fit with these tanks in case the next owner changes them
This bike has no leaks, very tight.
From what I can tell(I am not an expert)( but I do know what these sell for, and there values) this is a straight leg frame with all the floorboard mounts in place as well as mounts for side car. So this seems to be an unmolested frame.
This bike was a daily driver and starts up on the second kick when cold. From what I could get from the previous owner the last time the bike was done over was about 4-5k miles ago.
The previous owner did drop bike in his driveway, all that did was scrap up front fender, gas tank and lower controls.
Any questions feel free to ask, I will answer the best I can
Folks, please don't email me with unrealistic offers. I don't need to sell bike, and i wont mind keeping it. I mean it is a 54 Pan!!!! I have a reserve, and I welcome you to come see bike
bike is for sale locally as well
On Oct-11-13 at 05:33:51 PDT, seller added the following information:
Wanted to add the fact that the belly pan numbers do match and they are 154-4103

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
