This is an original 1954 Harley FL Panhead. The bike was parked in 1969 and has an amazing patina. Plenty of shops are trying to create this look but only time can create a masterpiece such as this. Gone are the days that everyone wants glossy paint and shiny chrome. This is the look everyone wants today. It's called "barn fresh"!
This is the 50th Anniversary special with an original gold plated medallion on the front fender. The bike was repainted some time in the late 1950's and updated to look like a 1956. There are no repop parts. It does have a pair of period correct Superior fishtail mufflers and Buco saddlebags that I've never seen before. They even have the original keys. I have recently serviced the bike and it now runs great. No smoke and it runs quiet and strong. It shifts through all the gears great. This is a very rare bike to find in this original survivor condition. It has never been restored. Call me for all the details or to schedule an appointment to view in person. Also for sale locally. Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).
2014 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed four models in its limited-production 2014 Custom Vehicle Operations. The CVO Breakout introduced last year is back for 2014, and this time it is joined by the all-new CVO Softail Deluxe (pictured above) and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited touring models which also received elements of Harley-Davidson’s new Project Rushmore initiative. All four CVO models get exclusive components and paint treatments not available on other Harley-Davidson models, as well as a number of accessories from the company’s catalog.
