Harley-Davidson Other description

This bike still retains the original 1953 wishbone frame, but like so many other old survivors it has been chopped and rebuilt so that it is currently registered with the new STD motor cases and a 2010 title. The motor is ALL fresh. Rebuilt crank, new cam bearings, .010 wiseco pistons, Andrews B cam. The big valve heads were converted to the late style outside oilers as you see on the 63-65 pan motors, and the generator is 12 volt. The transmission is a ratchet top four speed and was overhauled the same time the motor was rebuilt.  I have a file folder with over $8000 in receipts on this bike, not counting the title costs. NO, I don't have the old motor cases, but I do have the clear Texas Title in my name ready to transfer to the new owner. This is pretty cool and complete for an old panhead (check out the mousetrap and the birdie derby), but it is not presently a running bike (I did connect the ignition and oil bag when I first installed the motor, and started it briefly... it is a standard compression motor and starts very easily).  Needs to be wired up and needs the front brake overhauled. Needs outside oil filter assembly (though people do run without them), as well as a few other small things you can see. There is no battery.  Please look at the photos and ask questions. I'll try to answer.  There is another box of parts that is not shown in the photos... spare generator, air cleaner, and some other small bits.  You're welcome to come by and look at this if you are in South Texas. You can call me at 210 789 2764. I have a trailer and can haul this any reasonable distance at a dollar a mile, or you can try USHIP to make your shipping arrangements. I've had pretty good deals with them in the past. Local pick-up is preferred, but let me know what you need, and I'll try to help as I can. Thanks. Steve.
