The bike has all new bearings & bushings throughout. Every single part has been repaired, replaced, or rebuilt to keep the bike as close to original as possible & to recreate the way it looked on the showroom floor in 1947. OEM parts were used when possible & reproduction when necessary. All parkerized & cadium bolts & clamps. This bike is perfect in every way. Harley-Davidson Consolidates Businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy

In response to the continuing economic struggles in southern Europe, Harley-Davidson announced it will combine its operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy into a single business unit to be called SPI Motor Company. Harley-Davidson says the new company, which officially begins operating immediately, will be better positioned to respond to the challenges of the market. The new company will be led by Regional Managing Director of Operations Yves-Olivier Allamagny, formerly the director of Harley-Davidson Italy.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
