Harley-Davidson Other description

Totally restored 1933 Harley Davidson RLE.  Motor rebuilt, trans rebuilt, new paint, new tires and tubes.  Bike was just finished.  The bike has not been started, will leave that up to the new owner.  Thinning collection.  According to Harley Davidson "The Legend Begins," page 201, there were 8 RLEX's made.  Have owned since 2001.  Questions will be answered in a timely fashion.

Selling off (down sizing) Harley-Davidson memorabilia, collectibles and extra parts left over from my restoration projects.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.

Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011

U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
