First year for the front brake.

All bolts have 1038 markings where thay aply. Cad or Parkerized.

Fenders an gas tank painted with PPG base coat clear coat.

Color is Hi-Fire Red (Orange) 1957 one year only color.

Motor rebuilt with new chain,bearings an seals. New hardware.  Cylinder is freshly bored .020 over with oem piston & rings.

Dealer Assy: Shifter rubber,kicker rubber, grip plugs, chrome air filter an chrome exhaust pipe.

Seat has been restored in leather with powder coated seat pan.

Tires are  2 Ply  Firestone Chamption gum dipped.

Spokes or OEM drop centered. Newly cad plated.

The little Hummer runs an shift good.

Headlamp an tail lamp work.

Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada

A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.

Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
