Harley-Davidson Heritage Edition FLH description
For sale is a 1981 Harley Davidson Heritage Edition FLH. Limited
production #-only 784 produced. Original paint and bags. Numbers
matching engine and transmission-frame # matches the engine and title.
Top end completely rebuilt over this spring, bottom end rebuilt in the
not to distant past-500 miles on top end. File included for all the work that's been done to this bike, going back to at least 1992. Chain drive. Dual plug heads. Starts right up,
runs and rides very well, no leaks. No known mechanical issues. Paint
still shines nicely and presents well, showing minor wear and some light
spider webbing on the tank. Chrome, stainless steel, and related
hardware aged well showing minor wear, as do the original bags. The stock odometer
was replaced, current one reads 0512, there are approximately 30-40K
actual miles on the bike itself. This is a
mostly original bike. Windshield also included (not pictured) Prior owner purchased in 2006,
current owner had the bike a little while and is now selling to make
room for another project in the works, he asked me to list this online

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.
