Harley-Davidson FXR description

This recent build is ready for someone to take it from super solid basic to super exotic - or leave it as is for a beautiful bike. Built alongside my wife's street custom project (she is - the REAL builder - see her in action in the photos) this '84 FX has ~250 miles since completion, enough to work out any kinks and a gentle break-in for the fresh, rebuilt Evo motor. Black powder coated and polished 96" engine, final assembly and tuned by Rick Hummel. Medium (rideable but lots of torque) Andrews cam, S&S Super G carb, high performance ignition, everything brand new including starter, new battery.

Chrome Santee by Paugho frame, La Pera Silhouette seat, billet forward controls. Virtually every bolt-on part is new, including lights, headlight, gauges and lots of custom billet brackets, such as oil filter cooler and voltage regulator mount. LED rear light set, low profile signals.

4 Speed on belt drive open primary to chain final. New tires, new chain, Happy to answer any questions, I have included a few of the build pics, have many more so just ask.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Stolen Harley-Davidson Returned 17 Years Later [video]

Stolen from his apartment in West L.A. 17 years ago, Warren Huff, thought his Harley-Davidson was gone forever. The bike was found in Valencia after a man brought the motorcycle in for inspection. The bike was stock originally but Huff gets the customized Harley back as is. Hit the jump to see the news clip.
