1979 HARLEY DAVIDSON SHOVELHEAD FLH CLASSIC VERY GOOD CONDITION NO RESERVE. VERY CLEAN AND GOOD RUNNING FLH, NEW TIRES, READY TO RIDE ANYWHERE. VERY LOW MILES STILL HAS ORIGINAL STICKERS ON THE FRAME AND OIL TANK. FAIRING AND BAGS COME OFF FOR THE STRIPPED DOWN LOOK. SEE PICTURE #2. THE BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN DROPPED CRASH BARS AND PRIMARIES ARE PERFECT. ONE OF THE CLEANEST BIKES IVE SEEN. Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.

Fri, 09 Aug 2013For sale on Ebay right now are two original Harley-Davidson Sportsters ridden by legendary stuntman Evel Knievel in the film “Viva Knievel!“ Click here to see the Ebay listing, which ends on Monday, August 12. The first is the “Flying Eagle” Strato-Cycle, which is one of two used in the movie. The bike is complete with full documentation including original sales invoice from Harley-Davidson in 1977, which certified (with matching VIN numbers) and specifies that it was used in the Viva Knievel movie.
