This is a one own chopper which I chopped in 1971. It have taken it
across country and never had any problem with it breaking down. I will
list some of the mechanical work that has been done.
Rebuilt upper end with new valves and spring. New pistons .020 over Transmission was total rebuilt all new bearing and seals with Andrew Gears. Transmission case and ratchet top have been chromed. new Tires new paint custom seat custom speedometer New SS super bee carb New 6 volt battery If you want a classic OLD SCHOOL CHOPPER that has a great look and start in two kicks. Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
