1956 Harley Davidson FL - Completely restored. My brother in law has owned this bike for 20 plus years - he did a ground up restoration on it 10-15 years ago and has only ridden it very sparingly since then. It has just over 5500 miles on it since the restoration. The bike was just taken to Thunder Bay motorcycle shop in Tampa to have it freshen up including: the fuel system cleaned, carb rebuilt and a new battery (I have the receipt for all of the work - almost $600 worth of work was done to the bike). My brother in law has some health issues now and can't ride anymore so I am selling this bike for him and and my sister. The bike runs and drives just like it should. It is ready to ride and enjoy. More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.

Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India

Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
