Harley-Davidson FL PANHEAD description

Total restoration of a very original 19,000 mile bike. All original 6-Volt system complete with windshield, banana seat, trunk and rear passenger pegs. The only thing that is non-stock about it is the Goodyear tires and period correct fishtail mufflers. About 2,000 miles since completion, starts 2nd kick warm and 4th kick cold.

Bike is stock and complete, an easy ride to Sturgis. I hate to sell it but I'm 66 years old and can't kick start it any longer due to knee problems. Would consider a partial trade for a bike with an electric start. Imports included.

Call with any questions!

Harley-Davidson has been building motorcycles for a long time. Over 105 years in fact, according to the summer celebration I attended in Milwaukee last summer. Who could have guessed over a century ago that the company would be alive and thriving today?

Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
