Harley-Davidson Dyna description

NO RESERVE!  PRICE IS FIRM!

2007 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG Fuel Injected 6-Speed 96 TwinCam 1584cc Engine Screamin' Eagle Stage One Tuner with Quick Release Windshield and Quick Release passenger backrest and two-up Mustang Seat.

Amazing bike. NADA Value is $11,963. That's before you add the full Reinhart exhaust, quick release Windshield, Screamin' Eagle Stage One Tuner, Mustang two-up Seat, Mustache Bar, H-D Security, Passenger Backrest with Luggage Rack. You would never guess it has 17,900 miles. All service receipts from H-D Dealer. This six-speed 1584cc V-Twin is a blast to ride. TwinCam 96 engine with ESPFI (Fuel Injection). This is as close as you will get to a chopper from a high quality production bike and it will hold it's value.

What do you do when you decide to take $10,900 of your money and buy a bike? You study all the options and then set some priorities. Sort of like a David Letterman top ten list of why you should buy this bike:

1. You look to the #1 Brand name in motorcycles - Harley-Davidson. Then you look to one of their best sellers in the "cruising" class, the FXDWG Fuel Injected Dyna Wide Glide.

2. You look for a relatively late model (2007) with fairly low mileage (17,900) at a great price ($10,900).   That's less than 3k miles per year.

3. You look for one with a real comfortable seat. Mustang is the best.  It is low and you can easily keep both feet on the ground and have better control at stops.

4. You look for one that runs very smooth and very strong. Stage 1 Upgrade to include free breathing air cleaner & exhaust.

5. You look for one that has some expensive extra features added that came out of the sellers pocket and not yours. This bike comes with just about everything you will need. Many upgrades like H-D ISO hand-grips, H-D Security, HD quick-release rider back rest with chrome luggage rack, quick release windshield, Mustache Bar with highway footpegs, and great Harley sound with Rinehart pipes.

6. You look to buy from a trusted and honest seller.  100% Positive Feedback!

7. You look for the best color (Vivid Black) which is the number 1 color in the Harley garage.

8. You look for a bike that has been serviced well. All work has been done on time and at the dealership. Good Tires and battery. Owner's Manual and all service records stay with bike.

9. You look for a bike that is in excellent condition that has been babied it's whole life. Never down and always garaged. Not a scratch, dent, or blemish.

10. You look for a bike that is different from all the others. Clean lines and you can always add what you want to make it your "own". The 4 things I look for in a bike are (1) Does it sound really good, (2) Does it run real strong, (3) Is it in excellent condition, and (4) Does it run very smooth with no back-fire or jerks or slack in the throttle. This bike has all four.

WELL, YOU HAVE FOUND IT!

Inspiration straight from the street takes the FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide to the edge of the factory custom category. The new Twin Cam 96 engine powers this truly stretched-out motorcycle for 2007. The Wide Glide is as long and wide as its name suggests, with a 49mm fork raked out to 36 degrees and a 21-inch Chrome, Laced Steel front wheel. The Bobtail rear fender shows off the 160mm tire. Its 1.25-inch ape-hanger handlebar with internal wiring rise just above a stepped chopper-style seat and large, tank-mounted speedometer. The shocks have forged tops and Chrome, Profile Laced Aluminum wheels are an option.

Very clean lines and you can always add what you want to make it your "own". It sounds amazing, it runs strong, it's in mint condition, and it runs very smooth with no jerks or slack in the throttle.

Any questions please email me or call 404-822-442two.

Clear Georgia Title in my name.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain

Mon, 15 Nov 2010

THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.
