Harley-Davidson Dyna description

2011 Harley-Davidson Dyna Custom FXDC, As you have probably noticed, this 2011 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Custom has only 816 miles on its odometer and it looks it! We did a full 1,000 mile service here at Team Latus. This is a VERY stock Harley Dyna. Its previous owner installed a padded passengers back rest. A relocation of the rear directional signals was done at the same time. This allows a nice set of throw over saddle bags to be easily added if you need a little extra storage on a road trip. This FXDC has a very unique paint job. It is called Light Candy Root Beer/Dark Candy Root Beer. Check out the pictures, but it looks way cooler in person, especially in the sun shine. A 96 C.I. V-twin motor supplies the go and a 6 speed Cruise Drive Transmission gets the power to the rear spoke wheels via a drive belt. Dynas are extremely versatile. They make great commuters, a decent medium distance touring bike (just add a windshield and bags), they will take you to work in style and to the beach on the week-end. A call to one of our Internet Twins, Dave or Bob will get your questions answered. A Demo Ride is available. And we love trades of all makes. (316385)

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
