I Purchased this Harley-Davidson new and have put little over 3200 miles. This is a 105th anniversary model that is Finished in Harley signature colors Black and Orange. No.194/2000 built. Much lighter than the heavy Harley Tourers but with the same Twin Cam 96ci engine and 6-speed transmission. New for 08’ was beefier front forks, which improved handling over prior years. HD anniversary seat, which is really comfortable! As modern and refined this may be, it still has many similarities to the Dyna’s of the late 70’s. Bike is always garage kept and never been in bad weather. I get many comments on the bike every time I ride. NEVER DROPPED! It is Ready to ride. Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
