Antiques Roadshow Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Museum

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Warlord Harley-Davidson Saddlebag Trays By First Shot Cycle Parts

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

If you’re the type who likes to stay ultra-organized, even (especially?) while riding your Harley-Davidson bagger, you might want to look at these Warlord saddlebag trays from First Shot Cycle Parts. While the concept of saddlebag trays is nothing new, the Warlord tray is well thought out. Dividers keep all of your small items where you can find them and not buried in the saddlebag. Each tray is lined, comes with removable dividers and all mounting brackets.
