You are bidding on a 2004 Harley Davidson Dyna FXDI Super Glide. The bike has ape hanger handlebars, short shot exhaust, and driver floorboards. The 88ci motor and starts, runs, shifts, and drives as it should. The bike will need some TLC to make it perfect. There are only 15,762 original miles on the motor. There are a couple small dents in the fuel tank which can be seen in the pictures. The battery cover is missing and can also be seen in the pictures. The bike will also need a seat bolt. The exhaust has gotten blue from heat and this can also be seen in the pictures. There is cosmetic wear and tear throughout the bike. This is an opportunity to get a great deal on a bike that needs only minor work to be in great condition. The bike is located in Muskegon, MI at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. There will be a $200 documentation fee added to the selling price as well as your state's sales tax. The sale will have to be run through the dealership. The winning bidder is responsible for pickup or shipping of the motorcycle. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours. The remainder of the payment is due within 7 days. Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
