Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.

Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics are teaming up once more for another cross-promotional promotion, this time in support of the upcoming film “Iron Man 3“. Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. Next year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip will once again feature the Student Build Challenge. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
