2001 Harley Davidson Lowrider in excellent shape, very well maintained. All service work done by Harley Davidson service. Motorcycle has 15,000 miles and just had 15,000 mile service. New- battery, tires, brakes, tune up, choke cable, and all lubes. Bike runs excellent. Was a special order bike, with 1940s era 2 tone paint (Orange and Burnt Orange), spoke wheels, forward controls, straight bars, Vance & Hines pipes.

Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. New Harley-Davidson Book Ties Together The Company’s Past

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.
