I am looking to sell my 01 FXDWG only because i am going to purchase a Street Glide and do not have the need for two bikes. The bike has 28,xxx miles on it, but may go up some during this listing due to the fact i will continue to ride it. The paint was professionally done last winter using House of Kolors paint and looks amazing. Colors are Vivid Black, Tangelo Pearl Orange, the "H-D" and striping is gold leaf flake. Some of the aftermarket parts include RC Components Venom wheels 21" front and 18" rear, newer Avon tires, Russ Wernimont Designs rear LED taillight with intergrated turn signals, Vance & Hines Longshot exhaust, Hypercharger breather, Corbin seat, quick detachable sissy bar (not pictured, but included), Thunderjet Slide Carb Kit, Progressive lowering shocks, etc. It is an 88 inch engine, 5 speed trans, has Screaming Eagle plug wires, lots of chrome and money invested. Bike runs very well and has always been serviced religiously. The sale is for local pickup only, but i would be willing to deliver for an additional fee depending on the distance. US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
