1993 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG, BOOK VALUE $6,030 YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1993 HARLEY DAVIDSON DYNA WIDE GLIDE (FXDWG) THE ODOMETER READS 3,614 MILES, BUT WE CAN'T CONFIRM THAT IS ACTUAL. SINCE THE BIKE IS OVER 10 YEAS OLD IT IS EXEMPT FROM ANY MILEAGE RESTRICTIONS. IT IS VIVID BLACK IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1340CC (80') CARBURETED ENGINE AND 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THERE ARE SOME EXTRAS ON THE BIKE WHICH INCLUDE CHROME EXHAUST, AIR CLEANER BADGE, TIMER COVER, LOWER BELT COVER, BELT SPROCKET, BAG STAYS, SWITCH HOUSINGS, BRAKE/CLUTCH PERCH, PASSENGER BACKREST, AND PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION. THERE ARE NO DENTS OR DINGS WE COULD FIND. THE BIKE HAS SOME SMALL ROCK CHIPS ON THE FRONT FENDER, TANK, AND REAR FENDER. THE SEAT HAS A SMALL TEAR IN IT. THE CHROME AND ALUMINUM ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOME PAINT FLAKING ON THE ENGINE (COMMON ON OLDER BIKES) AND FORK BRACE, SOME OXIDATION ON THE SPOKES AND SWINGARM AND DISCOLORING ON THE EXHAUST. Opening Jan. 17, the Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius art exhibit includes 30 photographs taken during a series of road trips Kurpius took with friends, all riding vintage Harleys.

Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
