Harley-Davidson Bobber description
Whether it’s the mechanics and crew at the local Harley dealership, participants at a rally, locals at a bar or kids pulling into a gas station. This bike is a constant conversation piece and photo prop. I've never had so much fun riding a motorcycle. The jockey shifter is a blast and with the centrifugal clutch, anyone can do it with ease. The centrifugal clutch allows you to take your foot off the clutch while the bike is in gear. Below 1200rpm the clutch is automatically disengaged. When the throttle is turned and the engine revs, the clutch engages. So, you can leave the bike in gear at a light without holding the clutch in. As you give it gas the bike starts to go, no clutch pedal operation needed. Of course, as you get comfortable, you can always engage and disengage the clutch as you normally would. The paint job is awesome in an "old school" way and gives the bike so much character. It's the real deal and I'm not kidding when I say this thing is the talk of the town, even when parked next to Ferrari's and Porsche's. clutch at low RPM's so that at starts and stops it is not necessary to use the clutch pedal. All the fun of a hand clutch without the difficulty |
