I bought the bike used from an Italian guy and now its time for me to pass it on to someone else. I'm getting a little old for a crotch rocket, and I got injured playing soccer 2 weeks ago so it's time to let it go. 1999 model year, 900 cc, red (of course), aftermarket seat with the Italian tri-color on it, and aftermarket exhaust. I have the original exhaust and original seat if you want it. Indicator lights are aftermarket, as is the kick stand. Repairs and oil change done at Ducati dealerships. 6-speed transmission, premium fuel only (91 octane and above), revs to more than 10,000 rpm. Only about 11,400 miles on it. $3,250 obo. Report: Ducati to Introduce Three 820cc Models at EICMA

Ducati will introduce three new models built around an 820cc platform at the 2012 EICMA show, reports French site Moto-Station. Moto-Station reports the three new models will be a Multistrada 820, a Hypermotard 820 and an as-yet unnamed roadster. Over the last couple of months, spy photos of a new mid-sized Ducati model has been making the rounds, with many people claiming it will be a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard while others, like our own Kevin Duke, believe the new model would be a Multistrada.

EICMA 2012: 2013 Ducati Hypermotard Gets New 821cc Liquid-Cooled Engine

Ducati is streamlining its Hypermotard lineup for 2013, replacing its air-cooled 796 and 1100 models with a new 821cc liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Announced at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the line now includes the Hypermotard, the Hypermotard SP and the more touring-oriented Hyperstrada which you can read about in a separate post. Bowing to ever tightening environmentally-friendly restrictions, the new generation of Hypermotards come equipped with a new 821cc version of Ducati’s Testastretta V-Twin engine.
