I am selling my 1994 Ducati 900ss that is only 10,001 miles young. It is outfitted with full fairings, the rear turn signal were removed and the turn signals were integrated into the brake light. It is equipped with custom carbon fiber cans (~$500) and several carbon fiber additions to the gauge panel and the fork cover (pictured). It is outfitted with a custom made Sargent seat sporting the Italian flag (~$350). This is a very clean bike that has been garage kept. Two kids later and an upcoming move, I must part with this beautiful machine. It has been in storage mode for the past two years, but was running when stored, so should have little issue to bring back to its full glory.
I feel my starting price is well below what this bike is worth (suggested Blue Book is over $3000), but I must let it go. I have a clear Texas title in hand. Happy bidding!! Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Fri, 16 Mar 2012Mere days after promoting racer Brett McCormick to its World Superbike team, Effenbert-Liberty Racing has announced its withdrawal from the Superstock 1000 Cup. Effenbert-Liberty was one of the higher-profile teams that were planning to compete in the Superstock 1000 Cup on the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Until this week, the team had planned to field McCormick and Federico Sandi in the Superstock series alongside its three-man WSBK team of Sylvain Guintoli, Jakub Smrz and Maxime Berger on the Ducati 1198.
Track days, I love em!
Fri, 29 Jul 2011I never tire of track days. Well I wouldn’t as I’m out most weeks earning a crust instructing on them, however, there is usually an amusing story at the end of each event. I get great pleasure helping riders (especially if it makes them safer) although I do come across some weird and wonderful riding in the process.
