Selling my 2003 Ducati 999!!! The bike is in great condition, never been down, and runs flawlessly. Several ad-ons such as full termi exhaust, ASV adjustable brake and clutch levers, brand new battery, brand new set of tires, and was fully serviced (including timing belts etc.) at 8000 miles so is good to go for a while. The bike pretty much speaks for itself but will say that you will not be disappointed. Fast, handles better than any bike I have ever been on, and of course it is a ducati superbike. That is all I got, but feel free to request any additional photos, videos, or details and I will be more than happy to help you out. I also have a full service manual for the bike and the red key. I can vouch for the factory listed specifications, 0-60mph in under 3 seconds with pulse pounding top speed but she handles better than any bike I have ever been on. The faster you go the better the bike feels, not all shaky and unstable like some of the Japanese superbikes.

Ducati Holding Private Viewings of New Scrambler at World Ducati Week

Ducati announced it will offer private preview viewings of its new Scrambler prototype at World Ducati Week, July 18-20. Visitors to the annual Ducatisti festival at Italy’s Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli will get an early look at the Scrambler. Not counting the spy photos that have leaked out, the Scrambler has only been seen in person by Ducati employees who were recently given a sneak peak.

During his seven-year tenure with Ducati North America, Lock reorganized the company’s marketing, distribution and service operations, helping Ducati increase its share of the North American market to record highs. Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
