Up for sale a 2006 Ducati 999 S with only  4010 miles .If you want a really special mainly stock Ducati ,unmolested and previously owned by  a  60 + year old guy (no other previously owners)this is the bike  for you.The motorcycle is in immaculate condition both visually and mechanically. It requires nothing, no restore, rehab or work to bring it up to a concourse standard, except to keep it clean and serviced. The bike was always garage kept on a battery tender ,never in rain or ridden hard,there are no  stories of falling over in the garage or on the grass!!!I think this Ducati 999 S is the cleanest  999 S for sale out there.Being a used bike there could be some minor hair scratches like on every used vehicle but nothing major.Brand new Pirreli tires with only  about 50 miles on them.Clean Title ready to be sign over to the new owner. Still taking the form of Massimo Tamburini’s 1994 masterwork, but powered by the greatly evolved Testastretta V-twin that powered Troy Bayliss to the 2001 World Superbike championship, the 999 was the best of old and new, the apogee of the 916 curve. Well, now it’s just old.

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.

Robbie Brown gets World Superstock wildcard

Ducati Manchester's Robbie Brown is about to take on the biggest challenge of the year as he enters World Superstock 1000 as a wildcard at two rounds. The 848 Challenge series leader is standing in for Alexey Ivanov and will ride the Ducati Panigale at Brno, Czech Republic on 22/07/2012 and Silverstone, UK 05/08/2012. Robbie has taken 6 wins in the series so far and worked up a commanding 62.5 point advantage in the series to his nearest rival in 2nd position.
