Up for sale a 2006 Ducati 999 S with onl 4010 miles .If you want a really special mainly stock Ducati ,unmolested and previously owned by  a  60 + year old guy (no other previously owners)this is the bike  for you.The motorcycle is in immaculate condition both visually and mechanically. It requires nothing, no restore, rehab or work to bring it up to a concourse standard, except to keep it clean and serviced. The bike was always garage kept on a battery tender ,never in rain or ridden hard,there are no  stories of falling over in the garage or on the grass!!!I think this Ducati 999 S is the cleanest  999 S for sale out there.Being a used bike there could be some minor hair scratches like on every used vehicle but nothing major.Brand new Pirreli tires with only  about 50 miles on them.Clean Title ready to be sign over to the new owner. Open Letter from Ducati CEO About Italian Earthquakes

Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio has released an open letter addressing the recent earthquakes in Italy, and how they have affected the company. The Emilia region in northern Italy was hit by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake on May 20 and has continued to suffer from aftershocks including a second earthquake on May 29 that briefly halted production at Ducati‘s Bologna factory. In the letter, del Torchio writes about those who have lost their homes in the disasters and expresses thanks for fundraising efforts to help those in need.

Recall for 2011 Ducati Diavel

Ducati is recalling certain 2011 Diavel units due to a risk of the license plate holder coming loose. The license plate holder on the Ducati Diavel floats over the rear tire thanks to a bracket attached to the swingarm. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brass inserts in the chain guard may become deformed over time, potentially loosening the screws attaching the bracket to the swingarm.
