2000 Ducati 748s converted into 996s. Motor is from a 2001 996s that had 4236 miles. Swap was done by goldcoast motorsports in Jericho,ny. They are an authorized Ducati dealership. I still have the 748s motor in my garage but will NOT Be included in sale. Bike is mint besides needing a new battery. Few scratches here n there nothing serious. Has carbon fiber parts also and tinted headlights and tail lights. Exhaust is also cored. Brand new Michelin pilots with less than 300 miles on them. Comes with single swingarm bike Stand as well. Intermot 2012: Ducati Monster Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Wed, 03 Oct 2012Ducati marked the 20th anniversary of its air-cooled naked Monster line at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, the exact site where the M900 was first unveiled back in 1992. For 2013, Ducati is offering an anniversary edition version with bronze-colored highlights reminiscent of the original M900. Available for the Monster 696, 796 and 1100 EVO, the 20th Anniversary Edition adds a steel trellis bronze frame, gold brake components, champagne front forks, gray swignarm, engine outer casings and lower triple clamp and chrome headlamp support.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Makes Racing Debut
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale made its worldwide racing debut this past weekend, winning a race in Spain and scoring a pole position and a pair of podium finishes in South Africa. Ducati‘s latest sportbike isn’t due to make its international racing debut until the Superstock 1000 Cup race, April 1 at Italy’s Imola circuit, but the 1199 has already found success in domestic racing. Ismael Bonilla (pictured above) of EMS Competicion scored the Panigale’s first win in the opening race of the Castellano-Manchego Championship in Spain at the Albacete circuit last weekend.
Ducati North America Reports Growth in Q1 2012
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ducati‘s largest market continues to grow, with the Italian manufacturer announcing its seventh consecutive quarter of sales increases in North America. The first quarter of 2012 saw a 10.2% increase in sales. Ducati North America also reported a 98% increase in apparel and accessories sales over the quarter ended March 31, 2012.
