Ducati Superbike description

For sale is a 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S with ABS in like new condition with only 2,923 miles. The bike is still being ridden, but only occasionally so I don't expect miles to increase that dramatically. The only scratches I see on this bike are on the windscreen where the mirrors turn in and down below the radiator by the front tire.

The bikes also has the following extras
$3,940.82 - Termignoi Exhaust
$409.91 - Ducati Performance Billet Folding Levers
$409.91 - Ducati Panigale Tank Bag
$375.68 - Ducati Indoor Dust Cover
$252.83 - Ducati Comfort Seat
$159.99 - Fender Eliminator Kit 1D1199LTD from Competitions
$61.21 - Ducati Panigale Carbon Tank Pad
Don't remember the price - Integrated turn signals
You can verify the prices of the accessories on Pure-Ducati's website. This is the site I purchased them from. I'd include a link, but Ebay will not allow it so you'll have to Google them.

The Kelly Blue Book value of the bike is $15,940 with an estimated 13,020 miles on it. The NADA value has a suggested list price of $23,995, and a low of $12,352 with an average of $16,275. This is without the $5,610.35 in extras.

This bike looks amazing. Since it weighs just over 400-lbs and has over 200-hp with the exhaust it's the quickest bike I've ever been on. It has the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) and if you've never experience it, it's amazing. Pictures don't do this bike justice. It's really a work of art. I hate to sell it, but it doesn't get ridden enough.

I'm asking $15,000 or best offer (OBO). The bike cost over $30,000 with all the extras when it was purchased new from the dealership.

Let me know if you have questions. If you're in the Seattle, WA area feel free to stop by to take a look at the bike. I can only give test rides on the bike if your insurance covers it or if you want to fall under the "you break it, you bought it policy". If you need to ship the bike I'll help by meeting the shippers at a location near me. The bike is available for sale locally.

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Audi‘s purchase of Ducati is still waiting for regulatory approval but that hasn’t stopped the two companies from taking advantage of their impending union. Audi will make its presence known at the upcoming World Ducati Week celebrations, June 21-24 at the newly-renamed Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The German automaker will supply a range of cars to Ducati staff and management during World Ducati Week, and show off some of its high-end models such as the S6, S8 and the Audi R8 LMS (pictured above).

Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.) That used to be a Ducati 1098

Thu, 08 Apr 2010

I spotted this on my tinterweb travels. It's allegedly the demonstrator bike from a Ducati dealers on the isle of Jersey, in the English channel. The only information to hand is that the bike spat the rider off and the bike hit a tree - the only one for miles - and burst into flames.
