The series is very extensive, it starts off with just you and your motorcycle and proceeds all the way to what you should expect, learn, know and bring to the track.  Any expenses made are highlighted in each article so you can get an idea just how much it will cost to get you on your way with this addiction.  The author, Jeremiah Knupp, took his 2000 Ducati 748 along on this journey. Audi Announces Ducati Q2 2013 Sales Results

Ducati sold 26,007 motorcycles over the first six months of 2013, a 4.8% decrease from the 27,316 units sold over the same period in 2012. Last year’s numbers however were on the books for Ducati’s previous ownership and the latest figures represent the first report for the period under Audi ownership. According to Audi’s second quarter report, Ducati’s sales decrease actually fared better than the worldwide demand for 500cc and larger motorcycles which contracted by 6.9% over the first six months of the year.

Go Inside the Ducati Museum with Google Maps

The Ducati Museum in Bologna is a popular attraction for motorcycle enthusiasts vacationing in Italy, but if you can’t make the trip, Google has an alternative. The Internet giant has added a virtual tour of the Ducati Museum to its popular Google Maps application, allowing anyone to “visit” the 9150 square-foot facility. To access the virtual tour, search for “Ducati Museum” or “Museo Ducati”, or by going to http://goo.gl/maps/jAHeL and zooming in to Street View mode.
