Greetings prospective buyers,

I'm currently selling a 2011 Ducati 848 Evo. This has been a great bike to me and it is definitely a head turner/ eye popper. It pains me to let it go (trust me, I have drooled over getting one of these), but I have my other love that is taking up my time....and I don't mean my girlfriend. I mean my CBR1100 Blackbird. I have no room for 2 motorcycles. I'm using the proceeds, and that of my current four-wheel vehicle (which is also for sale), to purchase a nice new reliable car.

This all being said, this bike has plenty of beautiful upgrades.

It has been well taken care of and has plenty of goodies on it to show off with.

Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s  Hottrax Endurance Championship.

Silverman Museum Racing will add a number of rare and historic Ducati motorcycles to the upcoming Bonhams motorcycle auction at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, January 9, 2014. This is in addition to the impressive collection of Harley-Davidsons from the Pierce collection headlining the auction. Comprised of Italian thoroughbreds, the Silverman collection is one of the most renowned in the world and is based largely around competition models. For instance, featured is a 1973 750SS Imola Short Stroke.
