Ducati Superbike description
This sale is for very special custom build Ducati Streetfighter with 1198R style motor. The bike has custom build motor with high end components and lot of other modifications and upgrades. This bike is very fast, has very crisp throttle response and has very high output for a Streetfighter. Pulls very hard with virtually any gear. Absolutely fabulous ride in mountain curves.
The motor was fully rebuild with app. 2000miles on it now. Crank rebuilt by Ben Fox @ Fox Performance Engines in Colorado (Ben builds AMA and WSBK engines professionally). 1198 crank was lightened, polished and balanced with Carrillo H-beam rods and 1198 pistons. Lightweight aluminum flywheel. Engine rotating masses reduced excessively for crisp throttle response. 1198 cylinder sleeves with 1098 heads installed with 1098R cams. Slightly ported heads, port matched intake and exhaust ports. Aluminum adjustable cam wheels. Remus full exhaust. Ducabike slipper clutch makes sure the cornering has some civilised manners. Microtec fully programmable ECU handles the engine controls. Shore Lithium battery upgrade with upgraded starter cable. Suspension upgrade with Ohlins rear shock with matched spring. Front forks black anodised. Both tires are with little miles, F/R Michelin Pilot Power 3 Rizoma aftermarket mirrors installed. email me sinivaara@live.com with any questions. |

Ducati Art Releases Valentino Rossi Collection
Thu, 28 Jul 2011Ducati has revealed a new art collection featuring nine-time Grand Prix World Champion and current Ducati MotoGP factory rider Valentino Rossi. Available at DucatiArt.com, the collection features five vividly coloured pieces created by Polish artist Patryk Kuleta. The five pieces are titled The Fight (pictured above), 46 Reasons, First Ride, Front Runner and Perpetually Stronger.
Ducati Reports 24% Growth in North America in Q3 2012
Wed, 24 Oct 2012Ducati North America reported its ninth consecutive quarter of growth with a 24% increase in retail sales for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2012. Specific numbers were not released, though we may hear more details when Ducati‘s worldwide quarterly results are released.
Audi Announces Ducati Q3 2013 Sales Results
Thu, 07 Nov 2013Ducati delivered 36,662 motorcycles worldwide over the first nine months of 2013, according to the third quarter financial report from parent company Audi. An exact year-over-year comparison is not available however, as Audi only took control of Ducati on July 19, 2012, but Audi admits demand had declined mainly due to a weak economy in key European markets such as France, Spain and Ducati’s home market, Italy.
