Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
Up for sale is my mint condition 2010 Ducati 1198s with only 876 miles. The bike is is a 9.5/10 and has a ton of expensive modifications done to it. Carbon fiber add ons, Akrapovic Carbon fiber exhaust, the list just goes on. This is a very rare model in the due to the fact the bike is Carbon black with a Red Trellis frame. Most 1198S that were made had a bronze Trellis frame. The tires are literally brand new. Oil changes, Belts, and all check ups were performed at MCC Motorcycle which specializes in Italian and other super bikes. The reason my bike has such low miles is because I have too many motorcycles and didn't have time to ride the bike. This bike has absolutely tons of torque and the exhaust note is like thunder. It comes with a code card and extra keys. Please understand that the code card alone costs $2000. The purpose of the code card is to make keys for the bike if all keys all are lost without changing the whole ignition setup which is extremely expensive. The bike also comes with very expensive Pitbull Anodized stands front and back. I am not looking for trades; outright sale only.If I get a lowball offer i will refuse because I am in no rush to sell such a rare and beautiful bike. Please note this is the S model which comes with a very expensive Ohlins suspension setup, forged Marchesini wheels and a lot more. I'm letting basically a brand new bike go for dirt cheap. The price is similar to Ducati 848's with much higher mileage. Whoever picks up this bike will get a deal of the century. This bike wont last long as i know someone will pick it up in this beautiful summer weather. Title is Clean and bike is ready to go. All documents and history of work can be provided from MCC and official Ducati dealership.

How the 2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200S’ Skyhook Suspension Works
Mon, 24 Sep 2012When Ducati announced the updates for its 2013 Multistrada 1200 lineup, the Italian manufacturer was surprisingly quiet about the line’s most notable upgrade, the Ducati Skyhook Suspension. All we were told was the system is a semi-active suspension using Sachs components that adjusts its damping settings to varying riding conditions. Ducati has now provided more information about the DSS technology which will be standard equipment on the three “S” versions of the Multistrada 1200, the Touring model, the sportier Pikes Peak model and the new flagship Granturismo model.
Ask MO Anything: Why Didn't the Ducati Supermono Just Use Normal Counterbalancers?
Mon, 12 Sep 2022Doppia Bielletta for 100, Alex Following our recent Falloon File about the lovely and talented little Ducati Supermono, Commenter Bob wanted to know: “Why did Bordi use an extra connecting rod instead of the usual balance shafts? BMW had a parallel twin with a third con rod for the same reason. I would be interested in reading a technical analysis of those motors.” Dear Bob, Interesting.
Want sugar with that?
Fri, 26 Nov 2010THE FOUNDER of a Ducati dealership in America has started selling a Ducati-inspired coffee at his shop.Arun Sharma, of Portland Ducati dealers MotoCorsa, says he went on an exhaustive search for the best coffee producers available: "Wine, bikes, coffee — quality always boils down to the people who crafted the product and the people they made it for." 'CorsaCaffe' is available with or without caffeine.“Even if you are not a coffee drinker, you may want to obtain the coffee as a centerpiece," says Sharma. "Packaging like CorsaCaffe’s has never been seen before.”Sharma also sells a Ducati-inspired wine, CorsaVino, which uses the same style branding.
