2009 Ducati Superbike 1198 S, This is a gorgeous 2009 Ducati 1198s I bought the bike 2 years ago this past June and have kept up with the maintenance schedule thus far. It has a lot of extra's that I have added such as: Oberon Bar End turn signals, bar end mirrors, Shift Tech carbon fiber under seat panels, rear tire cowl and key guard. It has slip on Terminogni exhaust and correct ecu. The tires are in great shape. I just replaced the rear with Michelin Pilot Power 3's and have about four hundred miles on it. The front is a Metzler M5 with about 2k miles on it. I am selling the bike due to financial stress and truly hate to see it go. going to let this bike go for $10k. The event is open to street riders and will give the opportunity for you to work with instructors from The Penguin School on the track. Along with the tack experience, you will get a close-up look at the Ducati Hypermotard Truck which will be the home base for product giveaways, a ‘Best Bike’ contest, test rides, a suspension seminar and cold Red Bull. Larry Pegram, the factory Ducati AMA Superbike rider will be available for autographs and a special question and answer session about his Ducati 1098R Superbikes.
Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Tue, 18 Feb 2014World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
