2008 1098R set up for the track. It was meticulously cared for, despite it's track use. The stock bodywork was removed and the bike was then built for track use. The engine itself was left stock for reliability, but the suspension, etc were modified. The build list is fairly extensive... NEW ATTACK BODYWORK. MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

Designed in conjunction with the launch of the new Multistrada 1200 this great looking jacket can be separated with the interior lining usable as a stand alone windproof jacket. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
