2008 1098R set up for the track. It was meticulously cared for, despite it's track use. The stock bodywork was removed and the bike was then built for track use. The engine itself was left stock for reliability, but the suspension, etc were modified. The build list is fairly extensive... NEW ATTACK BODYWORK. The future. But we can't have it
Thu, 10 Nov 2011It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

I guess I just don't understand it, but these pieces look worthy of Tate Bike (that is if it existed). They're from young female artist, Guenevere Schwien, who grew to love motorcycles at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
EICMA 2012: New Ducati Hyperstrada a Cross between Hypermotard and Multistrada
Mon, 12 Nov 2012Over the last several months, Ducati fans have been pouring over a number of spy photos and debating whether the new model pictured was a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The answer, it turns out, is a bit of both, with Ducati revealing the new Hyperstrada at the 2012 EICMA Show alongside a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Like the new Hypermotard, the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada is equipped with an 821cc version of the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11-degree engine.
