2008 Ducati Superbike 1098, QUACK QUACK Nicky Haden replica - RACING SOUL The 1098 immediately stands out for its determined and aggressive stance. Every detail insists that performance is paramount. Traditional Ducati features such as a high set tail section, under-tail exhaust, single-sided swingarm, narrow profile and a rock-solid front end all emphasize the 1098’s aerodynamics and handling capabilities. The 1098 is a milestone both for Ducati and production sportbikes in general. It is the first production bike to feature Brembo monobloc calipers, an onboard data-logging system and new smart technology for the single-sided swingarm. Oval throttle bodies and the new dashboard are innovations direct from Ducatis MotoGP effort and appear on a road-going sportbike for the first time ever with the 1098. Report: Ducati to Introduce Three 820cc Models at EICMA
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Ducati will introduce three new models built around an 820cc platform at the 2012 EICMA show, reports French site Moto-Station. Moto-Station reports the three new models will be a Multistrada 820, a Hypermotard 820 and an as-yet unnamed roadster. Over the last couple of months, spy photos of a new mid-sized Ducati model has been making the rounds, with many people claiming it will be a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard while others, like our own Kevin Duke, believe the new model would be a Multistrada.
1199 TerraCorsa
Fri, 25 Oct 2013Looking like something from Mission Impossible II, this 1199 Panigale S has been given the off-road treatment by MotoCorsa, a Ducati dealer based across the pond in Portland.The bike features a Desert Storm paint job, a stock 1199 exhaust and a custom crash guard. MotoCorsa’s General Manager Arun Sharma said that they “dropped the forks as low as we could in the triple and raised the shock’s ride height as much as possible; the idea being to max out the ground clearance.”“There’s all these guys saying ‘that’s so stupid’ or ‘why would you ruin a good bike like that?’ Well, why not just have some fun and be silly?”The bike’s been taken on a 1200 mile adventure and apparently performed faultlessly across all kinds of terrain. MotoCorsa plan to make another video where the bike is taken off-road again, then driven into the garage before being prepared for a track day.

We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.
