2008 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, Up for sale is a 2008 Ducati 1098s (Sport edition). This Motorcycle has been taken better care of than a newborn baby. The body is in excellent condition and the engine is strong and crisp as the day it was purchased. Bought new from Duc Pond Motorsports all service records are up to date and done professionally by Duc Pond themselves. It currently has 7K miles and a few after market parts including a single side stand, Corsa Diablo tires, set Ohlins suspension, a Puig double bubble window and hidden taillights in the upper louvers of the tail section shown below. Former Ducati Owners Investindustrial and Mahindra Make Competing Bids for Aston Martin

Ducati‘s former owner Investindustrial is ready for its next big acquisition, reportedly submitting a bid to acquire a stake in Aston Martin. Investindustrial is reportedly competing against Indian car and motorcycle maker Mahindra & Mahindra for the stake in the British car company probably best known for its association with the fictional spy James Bond. According to Bloomberg, Investindustrial has submitted an offer of nearly 250 million British pounds (US$400.7 million) for a 40% equity stake and 50% control of voting rights for Aston Martin.

UPDATE:  Read the full review on Motorcycle.com We were invited by Ducati to the Mores Raceway on the island of Sardinia in Italy to take a look at the new Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO and EVO SP. As we were told by insiders at the 796 launch the Hypers are now one big happy family consisting of three members. The EVO and EVO SP are both seven kilos (15.4 pounds) lighter and five horses more powerful than the 2009 Hypermotard 1100.

Audi Poised to Buy Ducati

German automaker Audi is reportedly in exclusive discussions with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati. British automotive publication CAR Magazine cites high-level sources within Audi in reporting the car maker has won first dibs to negotiate a deal. Audi reportedly has until mid-April to decide whether to buy out Ducati.
