Ducati Superbike description

A great condition, beautifully equipped, 2007 Ducati 999S Parts Unlimited Edition!

Number 60 of only 500 Ducati 999S Parts Unlimited edition motorcycles ever made.

This (last of the real Ducati SuperBikes) is the last year, and production run of the Ducati 999. It includes top of the line Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, Marchesini wheels, and more direct from the factory. Which is good since it was $20,000 when it was new, and that's before more than $5,000 in upgrades were installed!

Upgrades include:
  • Full Termignoni Race Exhaust + ECU + Air Filter
  • Sharkskinz race fairings with custom paint, and single headlight design.
  • Sato Adjustable Rearsets
  • Ducati Performance Racing Gas Cap
  • STM Frame Plugs
  • Billet Machined Sprocket Cover
  • Quick Disconnect Battery Tender plug

This is not my first Ducati 999.  I've had a lot of 999's and have rode at least 15,000 miles on 999's over the years.
(you are not buying from some rookie, I still own and ride my insanely built 999R, 1098R, Monster, Desmosedici, and about 20 other exotic bikes, while running BellissiMoto, the nations #1 exotic motorcycle parts store)

More useful and important information:

Services are up to date.
Tires have maybe 500 miles on them, so expect to replace them soon.
Bike has been dropped before, but damage was basically limited to the original fairings.
The only other damage was exceptionally minor (very hard to see any) and limited axle and bar end sliders which have simply been removed from the bike.
If I didn't tell you this bike had been dropped, or if you didn't know that it originally came with different bodywork, you may have never noticed.

I have several great upgrade parts available from BellissiMoto for this bike. If you purchase the bike, we can make you great deals on items like magnesium or carbon fiber wheels, slipper clutches, and more.

Have a question? Please don't hesitate to ask any!

That you can buy this bike for only $8,500 is rather amazing, don't let the opportunity pass you by.

Clean California Title.

848 Challenge official race report: Assen

Wed, 23 May 2012

Robbie Brown shared the race wins with a resurgent Darren Fry at Round Two as the Ducati 848 Challenge visited the Assen TT circuit, the first of its two overseas rounds this year.Championship leader Brown (Ducati Manchester) was on imperious form all weekend, but Fry (Hirebase/JHP Racing), still not back to full fitness following an illness that left him in doubt about riding this year, put in a performance that was reminiscent of the form that took him to the Challenge title in 2010.With a win and a second place this weekend Brown extended his lead at the top of the table, but in also picking up a win and second Fry is back in the game in second with six rounds still to go. Sam Coventry (Moto Rapido), new to the Challenge this season and quickly getting back up to speed racing a twin after his year away in Spanish CEV championship, bagged third in both races to leapfrog to third in the championship.A number of other riders were able to put in solid performances over the two dry race days to do themselves no harm in the championship; in particular Jack Keen (Team Havoc Racing) with a fourth and fifth, and another championship newcomer Sean Neary (MotoCorse UK Racing) who scored a seventh and sixth.Race 1 was something of a dramatic affair with a number of fallers on the first lap, including front-runners Mike Edwards (OHLINS@P&H Motorcycles), Mark Cheetham (Hunt Pie Machines) and James Folkard (Win43.com) who came together at the first left-hander while battling for second place behind Brown. That left Coventry and Fry a clear track to chase down Brown, with Keen and Ed Smith (Ultim8 Racing) pushing hard through the field to close the gap.

And it's goodbye from him

THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.
