2007 Ducati Superbike 1098, Ducati 1098 - Yellow, 9849 miles, with over $6000 parts and labor including, spare forged aluminum rear wheel, new gas tank replaced under factory recall, Speedy Moto triple clamp (gold) wood craft clip-ons, Ducati race seat, spare Seargant seat, Ducati oem seat with Luimoto cover, new intake runners, BMC larger carbon fiber velocity intake stacks, BMC race filter, EVO gold slave cylinder, Pro Italia open clutch cover custom painted, Ducati taller windscreen, replaced water hoses with red silicon hoses, gel battery, installed Ducati race ecu flash and have the spare OEM ecu, carbon rear hugger and front fendor, CNR adjustable cluch and brake levers, Leo Vince SBK full titanium exhaust system with carbon cans, Ohlins TTX36 rear shock with knob for adjusting pre-load, and Ohlins FRGT-803 front shocks, carbon fiber key guard, probably other stuff I forgot to mention. After four years away, former racer turned team manager, Davide Tardozzi, is back with the Ducati brand. This time he will be in charge of the organization and logistics of the Italian squad in the MotoGP World Championship. The former Bimota racer had a very successful career as Ducati team manager in Superbike, collaborating with champions of the caliber of Fogarty, Bayliss, Corser, Toseland and Hodgson, and contributing to the conquest of seven rider’s titles in the production-based racing series.

Aye, it’s been a another good week in the world of Niall Mackenzie. My friends at Moto Direct sent me a new RST Pro Series suit to try out, I acquired some new rubber for my S10000RR and young Taylor Mac splashed home to 12th place on his Aprilia in the 125cc British Grand Prix. Being no fashion guru and pretty ancient now I’m satisfied the brightest suit I’ve ever climbed into looks the biz.
