Ducati Superbike description

2007 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, Since my job keeps me away for most of the year, I am selling my 2007 1098s for sale, I am the second owner of the bike. The bike was purchased by the first owner and myself from Jeff Nash down at Advanced Motorsports in Dallas, TX. The bike was complete stock when I purchased it back in 2009, since I have had it I have added the following parts/mods to the bike - Full Termignoni Exhaust - Ducati Performance Red Clutch Pressure Plate - Speedy Moto Stainless Steal Clutch Spring - Ducati Performance Race Seat (1st GEN) - CF Clutch Cover - CF Heal Gaurds. The stock parts that I have from swamping them out will be included in the sale as well as a battery tender. Also included in the sale will be a bike cover even though this bike was garage kept. The bike has never been to the track it has seen rain because I actually ride in the rain and am not one of those people who just ride when the sun is out. I am selling the bike because I just am gone to often to be able to ride it, when I am home I ride as much as I can and when its in the garage its up on front and rear stands with battery tender charging the battery. The bike rides flawless, I have had no problems with the bike in the time of ownership. The bike will also come with the service workshop CD, owners manual and all keys. Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union in Fayetteville NC currently holds the lien on the title so the bike will have to be paid off in order for the title to be released to the buyer. The pay off of the bike is just a tad over 1400. The bike is also in need of the 7500 mile servicing, I haven't been able to get it up to Ducati Greensboro for the servicing due to the simple fact that I am gone way to much to be able to take it up there for the servicing. BUYER is responsible for arranging shipping methods if buying out of state, however if you are in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia we can work out a way to meet halfway for pickup. If you request more photos or a start up video please let me know and I will be happy to send you as many as you want and the start up video as well. Just let me know. The Making of the Ducati Desmosedici GP12 – Video

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

Ducati has released a video describing the work that went into producing its Desmosedici GP12 to coincide with the MotoGP race machine’s official unveiling. The Bologna, Italy, manufacturer gave the Desmosedici a much-publicized overhaul after a disasterous 2011 season, with star rider Valentino Rossi going without a win for the first time in his Grand Prix racing career. From the post-season test in Valencia, Spain, in November to today, Ducati redesigned is race bike, with Ducati Corse General Manager Filippo Preziosi saying 90% of the parts are new.

Max Biaggi Testing the Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Max Biaggi has completed his first day of testing on Ben Spies‘ Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at Italy’s Mugello circuit. No lap times were released so we don’t know how the recently retired two-time World Superbike Champion fared compared to the lap times posted by MotoGP racers at the same track at last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix. What do have are these images of Biaggi on a GP racebike for the first time since 2005 when he raced for Honda.

Is Ducati Preparing a 659cc Single?

Wed, 28 Sep 2022

We’re now a couple of episodes into Ducati‘s 2023 World Première launch series, but there are still another five parts to go. Ducati has already started teasing this week’s episode, which we expect will be for a GSA-battling Multistrada V4 variant, with a new Panigale V4 R, a Diavel V4, and a next-generation Scrambler expected in the weeks ahead. None of these models we expect come as much of a surprise.
