Ducati Superbike description

I am selling my personal superbike as I do not have time to ride it.  This bike is a rush to ride and a fabulous showcase which gains lots of attention.  The bike has low miles and rests most of the time in my garage.  This bike runs and rides like it is new !  This bike was only made one year and only 1000 were produced.  It has 160 Hp and 90.4 lb-ft of torque from the factory, yet weighs stock at only 377 lb (before all of the carbon fiber upgrades!).

I have made many upgrades which are listed below:

Carbon Fiber:
front fender (stock)
front windscreen
upper fairing cowls
tank protector near key
key tumbler surround
tank protector at front seat
tail section vents
tail section seat back
undertank side panels
belly pan
exhaust heat shield
swingarm cover
countershaft sprocket cover
all carbon fiber clear coated to match gloss

Anodized red components:
front brake reservoir cover
hydraulic clutch reservoir cover
clutch booster cylinder

bar ends

Additional upgrades:
Sargent seat with red/white/green piping
Termignoni carbon fiber exhaust, computer chip, and air filter (Tricolore upgrade)
license plate and blinker eliminator
integrated turn signals into rear tail/brake lamp
gold chain
Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tires (approx 300 miles)
Acculign rear sets, shifter, and rear brake lever
Shorai lightweight lithium battery and tray (5 months old)
Brembo racing brake and clutch levers
Ducabike 5 spring slipper clutch (200 miles)
Open clutch cover
fresh Mobil 1 oil and filter change

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season

Thu, 22 Oct 2009

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.

Ford Ranger Wildtrak: part two

Fri, 19 Mar 2010

Been ‘modifyin' the Ranger this weekend, as those Max Power toss-pot types would say. But I haven’t fitted a four-inch diameter penis-substitute tailpipe. No, I’ve made the pick up bed more useful.

AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
