Ducati Superbike description

2005 Ducati Superbike 749, I have owned the bike since early 2011. I bought it with about 11K miles and it now has a little over 18K. The bike was fully serviced at the time I bought it and I had an oil change and service before I stored it the end of 2011 when I moved out of the country. The bike has been stored in a garage since the end of 2011, it has been started once a week. I now live in a small town in AZ for work and riding is not as enjoyable. The bike is completely stock, and in great condition (never been down). Please reference an owners manual online for spec questions as there are too many to list here. The bike is in need of tire, and I have taken that into consideration when setting my asking price but the price is negotiable, within reason. Bike can be shipped for roughly $450, to be paid by the buyer. $7,500.00 5092808882

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848 Spied

Mon, 08 Aug 2011

A photograph has emerged of what is reported to be a new, smaller version of the  Ducati Streetfighter featuring the company’s 848 engine. The photograph, posted by a user on the Ducati.ms forum, was reportedly snapped outside Ducati’s factory in Bologna. The banana yellow motorcycle sports a five-bolt hub on the rear wheel, similar to the Ducati 848EVO, whereas the current 1098cc Streetfighter has a six-bolt rear hub (pictured below from our 2009 Ducati Streetfighter review).
